About the Trip:
Itinerary
The flow - Thu 13 Feb – Sun 16 Feb 2026
Thursday—Arrive & Exhale
Land at SJD by early afternoon, hop in our one-hour coastal shuttle, drop bags at the desert hacienda. Stretch out with an easy breath-work dip in the pool, nibble on ceviche, watch the sun melt into the Pacific, share intentions over fish-taco dinner. Early night—tomorrow we breathe big.
Friday—Foundations & First Drops
After coffee and fresh fruit we meet the Dive Center crew for land drills: equalisation tricks, fin kicks, rescue basics. Late morning we slide into a protected bay; lines are set to 8–12 m so everyone gets their first pressure change without drama. Lunch back at the villa, afternoon theory, maybe a hammock nap, then an unrushed stroll through artsy Todos Santos before a chef-made dinner.
Saturday—Depth, Wildlife, and the Click of Certification
Sunrise breath-stretch, light breakfast, then our private van heads to La Paz. We board a 30-ft panga, motor to clear blue water, and clip into 10–20 m lines—plenty for your cert requirements. Sea-lions swirl past; you might hear their barks through your mask. Instructors sign off skills, hand you your provisional card. Back at the hacienda: grill-the-catch tacos, mezcal toast, reflection circle under a galaxy-thick sky.
Sunday—Integrate & Go Home Lighter
Soft sunrise meditation, hot coffee, ocean breeze. We hand you your laminated cert, swap next-step goals, snap a group photo, and roll the vans to SJD at 09:30 and 11:00. You’ll land stateside with salt still in your hair and a new calm you can summon anytime you close your eyes and breathe.

FROM THE GUEST BOOK
“Three days, one new breath-hold record, and the business knot I’d been stuck on finally unraveled.”
ABOUT THE CABIN
Our adobe-style hacienda is tucked among cardón cacti and mango groves—quiet, star-soaked nights, yet 10 min to Cerritos waves. Big kitchen, shaded courtyards, and a rooftop for workshops or whale-watching.
Ever been curious to learn how to Free Dive? This is your chance…beginners welcome!!
What’s woven into this retreat
A pocket-size odyssey. Three nights, four unhurried Baja days that feel longer because we strip away the noise—no Zoom pings, no city sirens, just cactus silhouettes and Pacific hush.
Real-deal certification. You’ll finish with an SSI Level 1 freediver card—the globally accepted beginner cert—signed off by patient instructors who’ve coached hundreds of first-timers.
Gear, guides, and good food handled. We bring the long-blade fins, 5 mm suits, weights, lanyards, safety lines, boat, permits, chef dinners, airport vans, and bottomless drinking water. You bring curiosity and a swimsuit.
A hacienda made for headspace. Seven airy suites, salt-water pool, sunrise yoga deck, Wi-Fi that works when you need it and disappears when you don’t. Night skies so clear you’ll relearn constellations.
Mindwork between breath-holds. Morning breath-work, sunset journaling, stargazing circles. You’ll practice pausing—on the surface before a dive, and back on land before big life moves.
Wild encounters, gentle pacing. Calm-bay practice lines the first day, playful sea-lion swims the next. Depth goals are personal; nobody’s chasing numbers for ego points.
Small crew, big safety net. Ten guests max, 1:4 instructor ratio, rescue boat on standby. It’s relaxed, but we take protocols seriously so you can relax deeper.
All-in price, no nickel-and-diming. US $1,500 covers everything from the airport shuttle to the last mezcal toast. Flights are the only extra.
